UIR takes pride in having the most significant national freight villages among its members. The synergy between the members guarantees efficient operations and transportation within the railway network spanning from the north to the south of Italy.


INTERPORTO DI AVEZZANO
The Avezzano freight village is a strategic hub on the Rome–Pescara section of the TEN-T corridor, with 40,000 m² of warehouses, large operational areas and five active tracks. Managed by Lodini Trans, it focuses on sustainability, digitalisation and road-rail intermodality to efficiently serve central and southern Italy. Joining UIR strengthens its role in national logistics networks.

INTERPORTO REGIONALE DELLA PUGLIA SPA
The Interporto Regionale Puglia spa constitutes one of the cutting-edge intermodal systems in Southern Italy. The area covered is approximately 50 hectares, including 90 thousand square meters of covered space for logistics warehouses and business buildings.

INTERPORTO BOLOGNA SPA
Interporto Bologna spa is a joint-stock company founded in 1971 with the aim of designing, building, and managing the Bologna’s freight village: an integrated complex of infrastructures, facilities, and services covering an area of 4,115,000 square meters, meeting the general needs of operators involved in logistics and/or intermodal transport activities. Established in 1971, the Company carries out activities related to the design, construction, and management of the freight village infrastructure. It has a share capital of €22,436,766 and is based on a public-private partnership in which the public entities (Municipality of Bologna and Province of Bologna) hold the majority.

SOCIETÀ DEGLI INTERPORTI SICILIANI SPA
SIS operates within the Infrastructure and Transport sector. It acts as the implementing body for the Catania-Bicocca and Termini Imerese freight villages, both projects of national interest outlined in the Objective Law. With entirely public ownership, it serves as a center of expertise supporting strategic decision-making for all stakeholders, including institutions, private entities, and social forces.

INTERPORTO CERVIGNANO DEL FRIULI SPA
The cornerstone of Friuli-Venezia Giulia’s intermodality lies in the new railway sorting yard in Cervignano (in the province of Udine), which commenced operations in the spring of ’97, along with the adjacent “Alpe Adria” freight village, active since 1998. Spread across an area of nearly 1 million square meters, the freight village can handle 350 thousand tons of goods annually.

CFFT SPA - INTERPORTO DI CIVITAVECCHIA
CFFT Interporto, a modern logistics complex situated in central Italy behind the Port of Civitavecchia, approximately 50 km from Fiumicino Airport and only 60 km from Rome, specializes in 3PL logistics. Its services include multi-temperature storage (ambient, refrigerated, and frozen), picking, packaging, cross-docking, as well as import and export customs procedures. It serves as an ideal facility for goods distribution in the Mediterranean and to and from North Africa.

INTERPORTO DI GORIZIA - SDAG SPA
SDAG SpA – Interporto di Gorizia, an intermodal logistics platform situated at the Slovenia border, spans an area of 600,000 square meters (including 20,000 square meters of intermodal terminals and 33,000 cubic meters of cold storage cells) and offers a wide range of services for international trade, road, and rail transport to and from Central/Eastern European countries. Its strategic location facilitates Mitteleuropean trade thanks to access to the two TEN-T corridors.

INTERPORTO TOSCANO A. VESPUCCI SPA
Interporto A. Vespucci, a leading company in planning, designing, and constructing logistics infrastructures and services, operates with the aim of meeting the demand for high-quality services from major national and foreign operators in the transport sector, increasingly focused on sustainability and intermodality.

INTERPORTO SUD EUROPA SPA
Developed by Gruppo Barletta, Interporto Sud Europa is situated in the heart of the Campania region, just 15 km north of Naples and 4 km from Caserta. Spanning over 4 million square meters, in addition to over 2 million from R.F.I., it serves as Europe’s platform, optimizing rail-road transport, reducing environmental pollution, and enhancing road safety over long distances. It also attracts traffic from the Far East to ports such as Naples, Salerno, Gioia Tauro, Civitavecchia, and others.

POLO LOGISTICO INTEGRATO DI MORTARA SPA
Interporto di Mortara, an integrated project covering approximately 700,000 square meters, encompasses intermodality, logistics spaces, services, and private green areas open to the public. Embedded within the Northwest logistics platform, it enjoys a strategic position, connecting with Ligurian ports, the Milan metropolitan area, and transalpine passes (Modane, Sempione-Loëtschberg, Luino, and Gotthard).

INTERPORTO CAMPANO SPA
In the mid-1970s, commercial activities shifted from Naples to Nola, giving rise to the CIS, the central nucleus of what later evolved into the Distretto. Over the past decade, through CISFI, the freight village and the Vulcano Buono have been realized, creating a modern district integrating distribution, logistics, commerce, and services.

INTERPORTO MARCHE
Interporto Marche is the strategic intermodal hub that connects road, rail, and sea in the heart of the Marche region. Located in Jesi, it represents a modern and flexible infrastructure serving businesses, capable of integrating rail services, freight handling, and advanced logistics spaces.
With over 60 hectares of equipped surface area, the interport hosts customs warehouses, distribution centers, intermodal services, and areas dedicated to combined transport. Operational efficiency is combined with a sustainable vision, in line with the new challenges of integrated logistics.

CIM SPA INTERPORTO DI NOVARA
CIM spa – Interporto di Novara promotes cooperation among companies operating in the logistics field, offering high-tech spaces and infrastructures and boasting a decade-long presence in the Novara area. Thanks to its strategic position, CIM has long been a significant logistics hub for Northern Europe.

INTERPORTO ORTE SPA
The Orte freight village serves as the primary logistics hub on Central Italy’s main north-south and east-west railway and road crossroads, positioned along the axis of the European Corridor TEN-T 5 Helsinki-La Valletta.

INTERPORTO PADOVA SPA
Interporto Padova spa stands as an excellent intermodal logistics center, designing and implementing infrastructure and services for logistics and transportation, with the aim of offering high-quality tailored solutions to its customers.

CEPIM SPA INTERPORTO DI PARMA
The largest infrastructure in the province of Parma, covering an area of over 2.5 million square meters, features a system of works, infrastructures, and facilities enabling the reception, storage, handling, and distribution of goods.

INTERPORTO CENTRO INGROSSO PORDENONE SPA
Interporto Centro Ingrosso Pordenone plays a significant role in logistics and intermodality in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, a region with a strong industrial focus. Connected to major road, railway, and maritime traffic hubs, it ranks among the main logistics and wholesale centers in Northeast Italy.

PORTOGRUARO INTERPORTO SPA
The company’s share capital of €3,100,000.00 is divided among public and private shareholders. Public shareholders, who by statute cannot hold less than 20% of the share capital, include the Municipality of Portogruaro, the Veneto Region, and the Province of Venice.

INTERPORTO DELLA TOSCANA CENTRALE SPA
The need to streamline the transfer of goods is a significant challenge for Interporto della Toscana Centrale.

INTERPORTO RIVALTA SCRIVIA SPA
Leveraging its know-how, gained from years of field experience, investments made, and professionalism of its personnel governing processes, facilities, IT structures, and proprietary warehouse management system, Rivalta ensures total control of the operational distribution cycle and direct management of all handling activities for its customers.

INTERPORTO DI ROVIGO SPA
Interporto di Rovigo, a multimodal hub integrating road, rail, and river-sea carriers, is directly connected to major communication routes via a bypass that bypasses urban traffic, thus serving as a crucial node in the national and European logistics network.

INTERPORTO DI TORINO S.I.TO. SPA
S.I.TO. Spa’s mission is to develop and manage services and infrastructures that facilitate traffic, logistics, and distribution of goods, within the context of sector evolution and innovation in the European area.

INTERPORTO SERVIZI DOGANALI E INTERMODALI DEL BRENNERO SPA
The Trento Interport serves the needs of operators in the storage and handling of goods sector, serving as a primary logistics hub for accessing markets in Central-Northern Europe, integrated into the European network known as the Berlin-Palermo corridor.

INTERPORTO DI TRIESTE SPA
Interporto di Trieste INT, an infrastructure dedicated to intermodal logistics near the Italian-Slovenian border of Fernetti, serves as a strategic hub for connecting freight traffic between the markets of Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean basin, positioned along the routes of the European Corridors Adriatic-Baltic and Mediterranean.

INTERPORTO DI VADO I.O. SPA
Interporto di Vado (VIO) is currently controlled by Autorità di Sistema del Mar Ligure Occidentale e dell’Autostrada dei Fiori. The facilities include 60,000 m2 of covered customs warehouses, of which 15,000 m2 are refrigerated (up to -28°C).

INTERPORTO DELLE MARCHE
Strategically located in the heart of the region, the Interporto delle Marche represents a state-of-the-art logistics infrastructure designed to optimize transport flows and enhance connectivity between major national and European routes.
With an extension of about 1.4 million square meters and a privileged location along the axis of the A14 and the Adriatic railway, the Interporto delle Marche is a reference intermodal hub for companies operating in logistics and international trade.
The interport has rail terminals, modern warehouses and equipped areas for handling and storing goods, offering integrated solutions for road and rail transport. Thanks to its efficient infrastructure and high-quality services, it contributes to making logistics flows in Central Italy more sustainable and competitive.

INTERPORTO RIVERS VENEZIA
Interporto Rivers Venezia is a modern intermodal city, spread over an area of 240,000 square meters in northeastern Italy, with 90,000 square meters of covered warehouses and 120,000 square meters of open-air areas. It overlooks the Adriatic Sea for easy access by sea of bulk, parcel, and project cargo. The 5,000 meters of tracks within the area are connected to the Mestre station. The Logistics platform fits into the European TNT – T networks of interest and the 5 Lisbon – Kiev corridor.

CONSORZIO ZAI - INTERPORTO QUADRANTE EUROPA
Interporto Quadrante Europa was built on 2,500,000 square meters with expansion planned up to 4,200,000 square meters. The first freight village in Italy for combined traffic volumes, it was recognized as the best freight village at the European level.
